It really is a great performance. Not voortreffelijk, but if you get into the storylines, it will keep you hooked till the very end.

Even though the plot seems to point to the eldest daughter, Grace, as the main focal point, in my opinion the matriarch Lady Mae is the star of the opvoering. She is strong yet sensitive, often witty and ultimately endearing. Great performance by Lynn Whitfield.

The first several episodes from season one were so good, I can't stop watching. The story lines remind me somewhat of the "soaps" wij used to love to watch way back when,but the quality ofwel the acting kan zijn excellent.
